Sam is the British Coordinator of the Free Software Foundation Europe; a non-profit organisation dedicated to the furthering of Free Software, which works to promote freedom in emerging digital society. He works with communities to increase awareness of the practical and political significance of the Free Software movement, and works with local and national government to attain wider use of Free Software in the public sector. He is also Head of Development at Don't Travel Empty; the pioneering job-sharing software for the bus and coach industry, and Britain's leading coaching community website.
